Jonas Sultan respected the judges' scorecard after he earned a unanimous decision win against Puerto Rican knockout artist Carlos Caraballo last month.
Despite all the three judges scoring a close 94-93, Sultan had the last laugh and captured the WBO Intercontinental bantamweight title.
Thanks to his four huge knockdowns, the 29-year-old Sultan exited the Hulu Theater of Madison Square Garden in New York City beaming with smile and pride.
"Para sa akin po, 'di na po ako tumitingin kung patas ba o ano. At least ang importante, manalo tayo sa laban kasi siempre si Caraballo, magaling naman talaga sa scoring (The important thing right now is that I won. We all know that Caraballo is really good at scoring)," said Sultan in the latest episode of former PBA commissioner Noli Eala's Power and Play.

Sultan also credited Caraballo's boxing and punching prowess, admitting that he was quite hurt with the heavy blows he sustained from the Puerto Rican.
The Zamboanga del Norte native pugilist knew the possibility of him losing sans the four knockdown execution.
"Talagang pinagpala tayo ng Panginoon na maka-knockdown tayo ng apat na beses. 'Yon po 'yong nagpapanalo sa atin, 'yong apat na knockdown. Alam naman natin na si Caraballo, napakagaling sa puntusan, sa galaw, sa ibabaw ng ring, sa lahat, parang alam niya (I'm really blessed by the Lord, he gave me that strength to score four knockdowns. Those knockdowns were the reasons we won. We know that Caraballo is good at scoring, his movement, every aspect, he knows it well)."
Sultan won for the third straight time and improved to an 18-5 record on top of 11 knockouts while the 25-year-old Caraballo suffered the first loss of his career with 14 wins all coming from KOs.
Sultan is planning to return to the Philippines for a two-week vacation with his family soon before coming back to the US for training.
