The prolific rap music artist is currently enjoying his time as the current top local Hip Hop artist in the country today.
The rapper, real name BJ Castillano, aced the top spot with two surging singles of his titled “BMW” and “SMS.”
“BMW” is a single from Because’s 2020 album “Heartbreak SZN 2.” The streams for said single has ballooned in the past few weeks due to it finding its way into TikTok. The use of the “BMW” on the short form video platform has pushed the song’s streaming numbers at both Spotify and on YouTube.
Over at Spotify, “BMW” is gaining over 260,000 streams per day since it first appeared on TikTok. Likewise, the official music video and audio of the track gained an additional 203,819 views in just the last 24 hours. “BMW” is a sexy, lo-fi tinged track that features R&B singer Leslie.
Because’s single “SMS” is the latest from the hit rapper. The release of the track, alongside another single titled “7777-2-3”, is a break from Because’s three-full album release streak that the rapper released between 2018 and 2020.
“SMS” is a pulsing moody jam that verges on lo-fi. Because’s latest single is produced by NEXXFRIDAY a.k.a Emmanuel Salen of WAYBETTR Music.
