Many are still awaiting explanation over her Baguio rendezvous with Paolo Contis.

But Yen Santos would rather read books.

Just recently, the controversial actress took to Instagram to share with fans two tomes.

These are both from Alex Michaelides: "The Silent Patient (2019)" and "The Maiden (2021)."

Note that both tackle deceit, betrayal, murder.

Does it echo Yen's frame of mind nowadays?

Who knows?

She simply wrote as caption: "can’t wait to start reading these two books."

Note that prior, Paolo already explained that Yen went with him to Baguio "as a friend."

It didn't silence naysayers who believe there is more to it.
