Mandaluyong City police recovered on Saturday, Oct. 9, over P3.7 million worth of marijuana from a house where operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted a buy-bust operation and arrested one suspect on Oct. 5.
According to the report, members of Mandaluyong Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) were dispatched to conduct a recovery operation in a rented room on Silangan St. in Barangay Barangka Ibaba, following a tip from an informant that there are still evidences left in the area where the PDEA conducted a buy-bust.
The SDEU team led by Police Corporal Kevin Baguilat recovered in the room one luggage and two sacks containing 31 kilos of suspected marijuana worth P3,720,000.
Mandaluyong police are still conducting an investigation regarding the recovered marijuana.
