To unify all the LGU-issued vaccination cards throughout the country, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has launched the National Digital Vaccine Certificate (VaxCertPH) last Monday, 06 September 2021 via https://vaxcert.doh.gov.ph/
The interface of the mobile responsive website will enable both techies and non-techies to submit their requests in just four (04) steps:

- Enter Details
- Review Information
- Get Certificate
Since I was already fully vaccinated last July 2021, I tried to check how VaxCertPH actually works last Monday. To my dismay, the website is not able to give me a certificate:
I tried again, and was faced with the same results: No Vaccination Record Found. So I opted to click on the green “Continue” button. From there, I was asked to submit a scanned copy of the vaccination card issued by our LGU (local government unit) as well as a copy of my government-issued ID. I was also required to provide an email address and a contact number. It has been more than 72 hours already, and no email was received from the DICT nor DOH (and still receiving a No Vaccination Record Found error).
Initially available to fully vaccinated international travelers and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the National Capital Region (NCR), VaxCertPH is part of the DICT’s Vaccine Information Management System (VIMS) with the end goal of enabling the National COVID-19 Vaccination Operations Center to vaccinate as many people at the fastest time possible.
DICT previously said that from the time VaxCertPH was conceptualized, both source code and data captured by the system are owned by the Philippine government. The agency has yet to determine when the website will be made available to all Filipinos.
