Mandaluyong City had previously achieved population protection last August 10 after vaccinating more than 70 percent of its total population with at least one dose of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, in its bid to further increase the number of citizens protected against COVID-19, the LGU started to inoculate non-residents of the city.

In a Facebook post last August 20, the LGU said that non-residents who wish to be inoculated in Mandaluyong must register in the city's vaccination program, MANDAVAX, and wait for the confirmatory text or call coming from MANDAVAX regarding their vaccinatio schedule as the city does not allow walk-ins.
