Despite their fame, benevolent celebrities hunk actor Gerald Anderson and his girlfriend actress Julia Barretto like to pay it forward by helping others.
On Instagram, Gerald and Julia shared a photo taken during a charity event recently. Gerald captioned the picture as "partner."
The Philippine Coast Guard also uploaded photos of Gerald and Julia.
"LOOK: Lieutenant Commander Gerald Anderson of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) and actress, Julia Barretto joined the PCG in a relief mission for the families of San Antonio, Zambales yesterday, 18 July 2021," the caption read.
The PCG said that a total of 100 families received food packs containing four kilos of rice and 12 pieces of assorted canned goods to provide food on their tables for several days.
"The PCG continues to conduct humanitarian missions in various parts of the country to help our Kababayans who are affected by the ongoing pandemic," they added. "The PCGA supports the PCG in uplifting the morale of Filipinos by regularly conducting relief operations as their way of serving with humility and compassion."

This is not the first time that Julia and Gerald were spotted in a similar event.
Assistant Secretary Goddes Hope Libiran has shared some behind-the-scenes snaps of Gerald's relief operation in Barangay San Agustin, Iba, Zambales that coincided with his 32nd birthday last March. World Vision Philippines ambassador Julia also joined the campaign as well.
Some months later, the young star also helped her babe re-packed goodies which they will donate to fishers in Zambales.
