The former 2NE1 star has just released a new single.
It's titled “Teamo.”
The Latin-tinged dance number finds Minzy collaborating with a trio of international artists: Music dance artist-producers Gionata Caracciolo, Sofia Ahlang and singer-songwriter Janne Hyoty.
Released early this week (Sunday, July 11) “Teamo” (or Te Amo stylized), is Minzy’s first new release for 2021.
Recall that last year, the singer-dancer recorded a Tagalog version of her fan-favorite song “Lovely.” Minzy even did a press conference with the local media to promote said single.
Minzy was all set to stay in Manila early last year but had to cancel her plans due to the raging COVID-19 pandemic in Manila.
Still, Minzy wasn't deterred and found ways to work with her Filipino partners in order to reach her Pinoy fans.
On that end, Her music video for ‘Teamo” is choreographed by G-Force’s Gelai Aguzar.
Just last week, Minzy mentioned and flexed that she and Sarah G, an artist she previously mentioned she wants to work with, has the same dance choreographer. Gelai was part of the team that choreographed Sarah Geronimo’s hit “Tala.”

Gelai for her part, was impressed by Minzy’s exceptional performance and hailed the singer as “the one and only Minzy” via a reaction video.
