400 DOJ employees get COVID-19 vaccinations

Four hundred or 49 percent of 818 employees of the main offices of the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Manila have been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

DOJ Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar said that 134 of the 400 employees had received their second dose of the vaccines.

Villar said that as of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, there are 80 DOJ employees who got infected with the virus, compared to 18 employees infected in 2020.

Of those who got infected as of July 14, two had died, 76 had recovered while two are still active cases, Villar said.
