The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) on Wednesday, June 23, reminded the public not to pick sunflowers at the UPD's University Avenue in Quezon City.

You may be fascinated by the beauty of the sunflowers on our campus right now. But we would like to remind you that picking without permission of any kind of flowers and plants within the campus is strictly prohibited)," UPD's Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Campus Maintenance Office reminded.

They are owned by the community and no one has the right to claim for their own consumption)," they added.

The planting of sunflowers along University Avenue has been a graduation tradition at UPD.
