The launch of the L’Oréal Professionnel official store on Shopee is a manifestation of L’Oréal’s continuous investment in digital and e-commerce space to democratize access to salon professional hair care products for more Filipino consumers.

Although e-commerce marketplaces have been a major growth driver for L’Oréal brands in the past few years, the hair care category specifically saw unprecedented growth in the past 12 months due to a consumer shift to do-it-yourself hair care. In the Philippine market alone, Hair Care sales were seen to grow by 2% in value from 2020 to 2021, with professional hair care products leading the category at +9% in value based on Euromonitor’s Hair Care in the Philippines report last July 2020.
