The Las Piñas City government will inoculate health frontline workers, senior citizens, and adults with comorbidities with Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at two hospitals in the city.
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the vaccination of the pre-listed individuals will be held at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta (UPHSD) Gym I and at the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center.
Aguilar said the inoculation at the UPHSD will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. while at the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
She said the city government decided to use the Pfizer vaccine supply at the two hospitals because of its delicateness.
Paul San Miguel, Public Information chief, said the 11,700 Pfizer vaccine doses allotted for the city arrived on Wednesday night (May 12) and were placed at Zuellig storage facility.
San Miguel said that a total of 5,850 individuals will receive the Pfizer vaccine shots. He said the city will tentatively conduct the inoculation of 5,850 individuals on May 18 up to May 22.
