Awarded thespian-singer Rachelle Ann Go recently shared with fans what she went through giving birth to her firstborn, Lukas Judah.
She wrote as caption to a photo of her while in labor: "If the contractions are strong, make it fashion..."
Indeed, unlike most mothers in labor, Rachelle didn't look worse for wear while there.
She was even wearing what seemed to be an expensive pair of shades.
Apparently, the bright light in the room was giving her migraines.
In any case, she happilly shared: "2 weeks ago around this time, our Lukas arrived! My midwife said she’ll give me an hour to push. If not, the doctors will have to examine me again and might do emergency CS. I said “NO! I will do it in 15-20 mins!” It took me 18mins to push Lukas out! Praise God! Tinodo ko na talaga ang pag-push..."
Of course, her husband, Martin Spies was there with her and a midwife.
"It was just the 3 of us in the room! What’s amazing too is that Martin was assisting her during the delivery!"
Rachelle added, "I cannot believe we did it! We kept praying for a miracle. It was a loooong labor... I was progressing really slowly but I was actually enjoying the contractions! LOL. Weird...But yeah I found myself saying YES to each contraction..."
She promised fans she will share more about the journey soon.
