Taylor Swift releases new song titled “Mr. Perfectly Fine.”

Grammy-winning pop artist Taylor Swift dropped a new single last Tuesday, April 7, ahead of an album release this Friday.

“Mr.Perfectly Fine” is classic Swift. The country-pop flavored number was originally written “before or during the original ‘Fearless’ recording sessions when she was between the ages of 16 and 18,” Rolling Stone writes.

Swift croons, “How’s your heart after breaking mine?/Mr. always at the right place at the right time, baby/ Hello, Mr. Casually cruel/Mr. Everything revolves around you/I’ve been Miss misery since your goodbye/And you’re Mr. perfectly fine.”

The best of both worlds as they say, as classic Swift heartbreak sentiments and themes are executed with current day Swift sensibilities.

Prior “Mr. Perfectly Right,” Swift also released “You All Over Me” (featuring Maren Morris) last March. Said track was also culled from the vaults of the original “Fearless” recordings.

Swift recently revealed the full track listing of “Fearless (Taylor’s Version),” which contains 27 tracks, including unearthed songs “Bye Bye Baby” and “Don’t You.” Two new recordings titled “That’s When” and “We Were Happy” features country music artist and former American Idol judge Keith Urban.

Swift tweeted recently saying, “I’m counting down the minutes ‘til we can all jump into this brave world together, filled with equal parts nostalgia and brand newness. Headfirst, Fearless.”

“Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” is set for release April 9, Friday.
