Former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. has his eyes focused on the 2022 national elections.

“Of course, we are looking at 2022,” Rodriguez, Marcos’ lawyer and spokesperson, said in a television interview.
“Ang sinusunod ng aming team, pagsapit ng January 2021, ang mindset namin is geared towards 2022 (What our team is following is that once January is here, our mind set should be on the elections),” he disclosed.
However, Rodriguez declined to reveal what elective post Marcos will be aiming for.
“We will be making an announcement as to his plans,” he merely said.
In the meantime, as part of preparations, Rodriguez said that Marcos has been engaged in helping out the address the pandemic (corona virus 2019 or COVID-19).
“Number one yung patuloy na pagtulong dito sa pandemic (Our No. 1 concern is to continue helping amidst the pandemic) in our own way using our own resources,” he said.
