QC gov’t releases list of priority hospitals for COVID-19 vaccination


The local government of Quezon City released on Friday, Feb. 13, the list of hospitals in the city where frontline health workers will be prioritized for inoculation once the COVID-19 vaccine arrives in the country.

Citing information from the Department of Health (DOH), the local government said workers of 11 private and public hospitals will be qualified for priority inoculation.

For designated COVID-19 hospitals, priority frontliners will be coming from:

• Lung Center of the Philippines
• Quirino Memorial Medical Center
• East Avenue Medical Center
• Philippine Heart Center
• National Kidney and Transplant Institute

For DOH-ran hospital, they will be coming from:

• Philippine Children’s Medical Center
• National Children’s Hospital
• Philippine Orthopedic Center

Meanwhile, the government-run hospitals whose workers will be prioritized are:

• Quezon City General Hospital
• Veterans Memorial Medical Center

Health workers of St. Luke’s Medical Center-Quezon City will also be put in the priority list for inoculation.
