“The Dacera family demands a DNA test of all specimens and alleged organs of the late Christine. The family does not believe that Christine has an enlarged heart. We believe there is a cover up,” Lawyer Roger “Brick” Reyes said..

He said the family is okay with exhuming the body of the late flight attendant in order to compare the DNA in her body to the specimens and organs tested by the police.

“et’s exhume the body, so we can compare the DNA in her arms, in her legs with the DNA of the alleged organs,” said Reyes.

He refuted the autopsy and histopathology reports of the medico-legal, saying it is impossible for the 23-year-old flight attendant to have an enlarged heart.

He even showed the medical examination report of Dacera, which was conducted while she was an employee of Philippine Airlines (PAL), to the members of the media.

“It cannot be possible that she has an enlarged heart. Otherwise, that should have manifested in the medical examination of PAL,” he added.

The histopathology conducted by the medico-legal revealed that Dacera died due to ruptured aortic aneurysm, meaning the manner of her death is natural. It is consistent with the findings in the autopsy report of the police.

During the conduct of the preliminary investigation on the case of Dacera on Wednesday, January 27, the Makati Police submitted the result of Dacera’s histopathology to the Prosecutor’s Office.

In the said report, it was determined that Dacera’s underlying cause of death is ruptured aortic aneurysm.

Lt. Col. Joseph Palmero MD, the medico-legal officer who examined the body, said that the manner of death as homicide is ruled out in Dacera’s case “because the aortic aneurysm is considered a medical condition.”

On January 1, Dacera was found lifeless in a bathtub in City Garden Grand Hotel in Barangay Poblacion, Makati.
