BIR implements another reshuffle to hit 2021 tax goal


The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has reshuffled another batch of revenue district officers to boost the chances of the agency in reaching its huge collection target next year.

It was the third major personnel change conducted by BIR Commissioner Caesar Dulay in preparation for next year's massive tax collection drive.

Fiscal authorities are expected to assign the the bulk of the P4.5 -trillion national outlay to the BIR, the premier tax collection arm of the government.

Given new assignments were Lorenzo delos Santos, from Puerto Princesa City to Quiapo, Manila; Jose Luna, from Quiapo to Puerto Princesa; Caroline Takata, from Paco to Paranaque City; Rebe Detablan from Paranaque to Central Laguna;Timm Renomeron from West Laguna to Caloocan City; Antonio Mangubat Jr., from Central Laguna to Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Jose Edimar Jaen, from Sta. Maria to Iriga City; Kay Velasco, from Iriga to West Cavite; Danilo Lino, from West Cavite to East Laguna; Nasrollah Conding, from Ilagan, Isabela to Cebu City North; Stimson Cureg, from Vigan, Ilocos Sur to Cebu City North; Trinidad Villamil, from Cebu City North to Mandate City, and Maglangit Decampong from Mandanue City to Vigan, Ilocos Sur.
