Navotas City's active coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is now only one percent of its total confirmed cases.
As of 6 p.m. of November 3, Mayor Toby Tiangco said, only 54 out of the city's 5,147 confirmed cases remain active.
A total of 4,945 patients (96.1 percent) have already recovered while 148 died.
Tiangco reminded his constituents to continue observing health protocols to maintain the city's gains against the spread of COVID-19.
"Patuloy na mag-ingat at sumunod sa mga safety measures. Sa ganitong paraan, makatutulong tayo na matigil ang hawaan at maging ligtas ang isa’t isa mula sa sakit (Let's continue taking care of ourselves and follow safety measures. This way, we will be able to help stop the infections and keeping each other safe from the disease)," he said.
