The grand dame of Makati hotels extends its festivity with its to-go feasts.

CULINARY THROWBACK
To toast its 44th anniversary, the hotel’s executive sous chef Xavier Castello is offering many of the hotel’s most beloved culinary creations (and libations) at prices evocative of that day four decades ago when the hotel pages welcomed their first guests through The Lobby’s doors.
The Peninsula Boutique’s assorted French pastries, 70 percent dark chocolate cigar, coffee eclair, banana bread, sourdough ciabatta loaf, etc. are priced at only P197.60.
Also on the menu are The Lobby favorites like pancit luglug and grilled Schüblig sausage and spices classics nasi goreng and phad thai for P444.
Old Manila’s famed Angus beef ribeye steak and beef or salmon Wellington are a steal at P1,976.
BRING ON THE SPIRITS
The Peninsula Manila sure knows how to throw a party, even outside its lush halls. And to keep everyone in a gleeful spirit, beverage manager Rico Deang is bringing special bottles to match any occasion, anytime and anywhere.
