WATCH: Joseph Gordon-Levitt shares video highlighting the 'beauty' of PH

Hollywood actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has recently uploaded on his social media account a clip that featured different scenes from the Philippines as well as candid photos of some Filipinos.

"Really pleased to share 'The Beauty of the Philippines,' the short film that so many of you created," he wrote as a caption.

According to him, like everything they do in his business, the said "piece" is a "true collaboration," wherein artists from the Philippines contributed thousands of photos and videos to bring other artists' writing and voice to life.

"Wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who contributed. Your enthusiasm for this project really moved me. So did your talent and creativity," he related.

The 39-year-old star then declared how the finished piece is such a "sweet celebration of a beautiful place and culture."

"Bravo to everyone who contributed! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. Looking forward to seeing what we'll create together next," he ended his post.

Note that in the video, it was explained that the "most beautiful" thing about the Philippines is its people.

"They find the beauty in all things. They will make you feel like you are a family like you're home. Wherever you go, you will find yourself surrounded by scenes of such spectacle. From the plants to the trees, to the water, to the setting sun, every spot is special. But it is the people you will remember most. You will discover how a simple smile from a stranger can change your day. In their eyes, you will find hope and love. And you will be forever changed,” the message read.

It was last July when Joseph invited Pinoys to do voice acting.

Then in August, he shared he was looking for Filipino writers for a project.

Then a few days later he asked Filipinos to share the best photos taken in the Philippines.
