The course is under the College of Mass Communication and will only have 25 slots. But as per UP's Computerized Registration System (CRS) website, over 200 students have enlisted for the course as of August 17.

For the course, students will be required to have a Netflix account for them to watch hit K-drama series "Crash Landing on You," "Chicago Typewriter," and "Misaeng."

Students will also need an Internet connection, a video conferencing app (either Google Meet, Messenger, Viber, or Zoom), a computer gadget with working video and audio, and an account at the University Virtual Learning Environment (UVLE), a learning management system of UP teachers.

"Special Topics: Analysis of K-drama Series" is open to all colleges and is scheduled to take place weekly on Fridays, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
