Ben&Ben tries hand at K-pop songs

OPM band Ben&Ben has granted their fans' wish for them to cover K-pop songs.

In the first episode of their video series, BBTV, the group made their rendition of NCT Dream’s “Beautiful Time,” Red Velvet’s “Bad Boy,” TWICE’s “Feel Special,” and Day6’s “You Were Beautiful.”

Paolo Guico said they wanted to thank the fans who kept suggesting Ben&Ben's songs to their favorite K-pop idol groups.

Among K-pop stars who have praised Ben&Ben’s music were Red Velvet’s Wendy, DAY6’s Young K, NCT Dream’s Renjun and Mark, and TWICE’s Momo.

“Ginawa natin siya kasi yung mga K-pop fans ni re-request yung music ng Ben&Ben sa mga idol groups nila, and plinay ng mga idols nila sa livestream nila,” Paolo said.

“Bilang pasasalamat, we wanted to try our hand at K-pop songs,” he added.

Ben&Ben recently topped South Korea’s Melon search chart after Young K listened to their song “Leaves” during a V Live broadcast.
