Imus public hospital opening in October

IMUS, Cavite – A P205 million modern public hospital will rise and open its doors to Imus folk in October.

The public hospital, on Pedro Reyes Street in Barangay Malagasang I-G, will be one of the most modern in Cavite province.

The fund for the hospital construction came from the P7.2 billion national government allotment intended for Imus District’s education, health, infrastructure and other priority projects.

Third District (Imus) Rep. Alex L. Advincula assured that the much-awaited hospital is set to operate in October this year.

Advincula said that the hospital, school construction, and so the first Imus flyover, set to open in December, also this year, are three prime projects of the national and local administration.

The legislator said that Imus had built a total 873 new public classrooms in the last few years.

He said that the new public hospital is intended for the indigents, senior citizens, and other residents in need of medical attention.

The three-story hospital, with 4,000 square meter floor area, have 38 charity wards and 10 private rooms with 120-beds and five doctor rooms and medical service personnel quarters. All rooms and offices in the hospital will be air-conditioned.

At least 11 doctors, 24 nurses and 12 consultants, including specialists would be available for the day-to-day services.
