In a Facebook post, Gaza shared a document signed by Judge Maya Joy Guiyab-Camposanto of the Malabon Metropolitan Trial Court, saying he was found guilty of 11 counts of violation of the Anti-Bouncing Check Law.

Aside from imprisonment, the self-proclaimed CEO, also has to pay the complainant over P2,180,000 and legal interests/costs.

Gaza said he has 15 days to appeal the court's decision.

In another Facebook post, Gaza stated: "Karma is real. What do you do now will come back to you in the future. Life has a funny way of making you deal with what you make others go through."

Gaza, the man who went viral after asking an actress for a date through billboard, surrendered to the police on April 12 for being behind a P2.6-million investment scam.

Three days after, he announced on social media post that someone posted bail for him worth P126,000.

Gaza faced trial for the nine counts filed by Jaime Asuncion and 11 counts filed by Melinda Cruz. They were asked by Gaza to invest in a coffee shop, but he failed to pay the debt.

Meanwhile, in a text message sent by Asuncion, he made clear that the decision posted by Gaza is for the charges filed by Cruz.

According to him, the trial for the case he filed against Gaza is still ongoing.

In an interview, Gaza admitted being a scammer in some way, but not in the two particular cases.

“After years of denial, I accepted myself already. In some way, I became a scammer and committed fraud. I really hate the person I have become. I want to change once released,” he said.
