The Rodriguez Rizal Police confiscated a total of P197,200 worth of shabu and several illegal firearms in an operation held in Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal on Friday, April 4.
The Rodriguez Municipal Police Station identified the suspect as "Macky," 44.
Aside from 29 grams of shabu, the police also confiscated a .9mm pistol and a .38 caliber revolver from the suspect.
Further investigation revealed that Macky was also apprehended in Laguna for drug-related charges in 2023.
Macky is currently detained at the Rodriguez Custodial Facility and is facing charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), in relation to Batas Pambansa Blg. 881 (Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines).
