Three individuals were caught on closed circuit television (CCTV) stealing boxes of imported coffee from a Korean grocery store in Tondo, Manila.
The suspects, two women and a man, were all wearing facemasks during the incident.
They were seen concealing the items inside their bag while one woman hid the coffee inside her skirt.
Store staff reported that the suspects spent several minutes in the coffee section before leaving without paying.
The store’s security cameras captured their actions and they were seen leaving the store with the stolen items.
The stolen items cost more than P8,000.
Police said they are still conducting follow-up operations to arrest the suspects.
The store management stated that they will enhance security measures to prevent a repeat of the incident.
