Based on the police report, a resident reported a commotion outside his house at around 2 a.m. and saw "Mark" and "Patrick" who are neighbors, hacking and stabbing each other with bolos.

This prompted him to immediately report the incident to the Barangay Police Safety and Order (BPSO) in their area.

The two were given immediate medical attention by the first responders after suffering deep laceration and stab wounds on their heads, arms, and other parts of their bodies. They were eventually brought to the nearest hospital for treatment.

Further investigation revealed that the two have a long-standing grudge over a land dispute.

The victims refrained from commenting on the incident.

Maraggun said one of them was already discharged from the hospital while the other is still recovering from his injuries.

He added that Mark and Patrick plan to file physical injury charges against each other.
