RIGO Duterte, son of Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte, led a medical mission for senior citizens in Davao City recently.

Over 1,000 senior citizens in Barangay Catalunan Grande received free consultations and direct medication on March 5. Seven hundred in Barangay Talomo Proper benefited on March 18.

Senior citizens availed themselves of eye tests and received reading glasses. Individuals requiring maintenance and other prescribed medicines, vitamins, wheelchairs, and nebulizers obtained support.

“We, in Barangay Talomo, truly appreciate Congressman Pulong's initiative. The free checkups, medicines, and vitamins, including eyeglasses and wheelchairs, are a big help for most seniors no longer working,” 59-year-old Annejoy Tiongson said.

Barangay Talomo Councilor Lotte Cantoja thanked the lawmaker and his staff for making healthcare more accessible to the community through their medical mission.

Duterte’s son Rigo managed the events and interacted with the beneficiaries and barangay staff.  Rigo acknowledged health workers,  barangay staff, and his father’s office  for making the medical missions possible.
