An initial batch of 50 4Ps members received mobile phones to help them navigate digital transactions and financial platforms, Tiangco bared in a statement Tuesday, March 18.

Some 852 4Ps beneficiaries, who attended the launch, also received P2,000 in financial assistance.

(We give big thanks to the DSWD for choosing Navotas as pilot city in the National Capital Region for the e-PANALO program. With this, our 4Ps beneficiaries will get aid much faster and easier.)

"But more than that, we are equipping them with knowledge and skills in digital technology while helping them build a stronger foundation in financial literacy," he added.

The veteran lawmaker also commended the DSWD, under the leadership of Secretary Rex Gatchalian, for its commitment to innovation in social services.

(Not only are we making financial assistance more accessible--we are also giving 4Ps beneficiaries the ability to adopt to the changing digital and financial landscape.of our time.)
