Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, PRO 4-A director, emphasized the role of technology in achieving a safer and more secure region during a demonstration of the facility to Police Lt. Gen. Robert Rodriguez, Philippine National Police deputy chief for operations, representing PNP chief Police Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil.
“The integration of AI technology into our command center marks a new era of policing. We are leveraging innovation to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and crime prevention strategies. This initiative is aligned with our commitment to making Calabarzon a safer place for all,” Lucas said.
Rodriguez lauded the efforts of the PRO 4-A leadership and said that the AI-enhanced regional command center is a demonstration of the PNP’s commitment to modernize law enforcement operations.
The PRO 4-A said the state-of-the-art command center is a significant milestone in modern policing, enhancing real-time monitoring, data-driven crime prevention, and emergency response coordination.
Equipped with cutting-edge AI-powered analytics, facial recognition, and predictive policing algorithms, Lucas said the facility enables them to proactively combat crime, ensure rapid deployment, and optimize resource allocation across the region.
Marbil cited the PRO 4-A for establishing the regional command center.
“This is a reflection of trust and support given by the government and the community. This is not just a building, it represents the very essence of our duty to serve and protect with vigilance, efficiency, and dedication. It will strengthen our ability to monitor, coordinate, and respond quickly to incidents, ensuring the people of Calabarzon can feel safer and more secure as we become proactive rather than reactive and to inspire trust in every citizen we serve.”
