The company reduced electricity rates by P2.76 per kilowatt in the March billing cycle to P10.41 per kwh.
In February, MORE Power cut rates by P0.78 per kilowatt hour.
Consumers using around 200 kilowatt hours are expected to save an estimated of P156 for the billing period March 18 to April 12.
“We are committed to providing our customers with the most affordable and reliable electricity possible. This rate reduction is a direct result of our strategic procurement practices and our commitment to delivering value to our consumers,” MORE Power said.
MORE Power attributed the decrease to lower generation and transmission charges.
The company has increased procurement of supply from the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) that accounts for 57.5 percent of its generation mix.
