Fugitive from Iloilo arrested by Parañaque cops

A wanted man with a bounty of P145,000 and tagged by the police as the most wanted person was arrested in Parañaque City on March 10.

 

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as alias “Jimwhel,” 38, and a resident of Antipolo City, was arrested in Barangay San Dionisio.

 

The SPD said Jimwhel, who was facing murder and frustrated murder charges in Iloilo City, was arrested by combined teams of Parañaque City Police, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)- Ilocos Norte, and other police agencies

 

The police said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Rogelio Amador, of Barotac Viejo Iloilo Regional Trial Court, Branch 66, for murder on January 14, 2019 with no bail recommended.

 

Another warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Globert Justalero of Barotac Viejo Iloilo Regional Trial Court, Branch 66 for frustrated murder on October 25, 2012, with a recommended bail of P200,000.

 

The suspect was detained at the Parañaque City Police Station Custodial Facility.
