A Diliman homegrown talent, Torculas decided to forego his two remaining years for the Maroons and compete for an undisclosed school.

“We’re proud of Aldous kung saan man siya susunod na maglalaro and we’re sure that he'll make UP proud by bringing the UP Fight,” said  UP Office of Athletics and Sports Development  director Bo Perasol.

“We wish Aldous the best and for sure, there are no goodbyes to be said right now. We’ll see you soon!” he added.

Coming off the bench, the 6-foot-4 wing averaged 3.9 points, and 2.3 rebounds in eight minutes of action in Season 87.

Torculas also shone defensively against several topnotch players including NU’s Jake Figueroa and La Salle’s Kevin Quiambao.

His presence also became effective as part of the supporting cast as the Maroons completed their redemption bid to win the UAAP title, beating La Salle in a sudden death Game 3.

Before his collegiate stint, the pride of Malabon had splendid numbers while bannering UPIS, listing 11.6 points, 15.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.3 blocks and 2.3 steals to become part of Season 82 Boys’ Mythical Team.
