Celebrities are often hired to perform in corporate events.
Most of them readily agree to such as they are paid more for it compared to the usual shows they do.
Companies who earned well for the year usually allocate a huge budget for these performances.
When this happens, employees are already assured of a fantastic show from a popular celebrity.
This wasn’t the case for the company that hired Popular Singer (PS) to entertain its employees.
PS gained acclaim for her relatable songs. Tickets for her concerts are quite expensive.
Company employees were only too excited to see PS perform live. They gleefully looked forward to hobnob with her.
When the day came, however, the employees were disappointed.
Although PS delivered an excellent performance, she was seemingly only too eager to use the moment to rant.
Rather than help celebrate the success of the company, PS’s spiels were full of angst.
Lucky for the employees, PS was not the only performer that management hired for the event.
Some of those who cannot stomach PS’s apparent negativity simply decided to step out and wait for the next performer.

The snob
Well-loved Actor (WA) recently lost A Fan (AF) because of indifference.
WA is among busiest of his ilk, with projects left and right. His management gave him tons of opportunities, something that WA did not take for granted.
Apparently, he is quite versatile. Although he would get involved in controversy once in a while, these were resolved quickly.
His excellent public image endeared him to many. Time passed and WA continued to accumulate achievements. His family life flourished.
Note that although involved in various endeavours, WA made it a priority to always be present in family activities.
One day, AF saw WA. Politely, AF and friends asked if they could take a photo with him.
To their surprise, WA just shook his head and stared far into the horizon.
AF and friends could not believe it. At that exact moment, they lost the love they had for him.
