P108K shabu confiscated in Parañaque sting

A buy-bust operation conducted by the Parañaque City Police led to the arrest of two drug suspects and the confiscation of P108,800 worth of shabu on Friday, Jan. 17.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspects as "Bigboy," 30, and "Sheens," 35. They were apprehended at around 9:10 p.m. in Barangay Baclaran.

Authorities recovered 16 grams of shabu, a P100 bill used in the transaction, a black coin purse, and two cellular phones from the suspects.

The confiscated drugs were submitted to the SPD Forensic Unit for laboratory analysis.

The suspects are detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and are facing charges under Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165.
