New Laguna police chief takes over


CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna -- Police Col. Ricardo Dalmacia was installed as the new Laguna Police Provincial Office chief on Saturday, Jan. 11.

He replaced Police Col. Gauvin Mel Unos.

PRO 4-A chief regional staff Police  Col. Julius Suriben, representing Police Brig. Gen Paul Kenneth Lucas, PRO 4-A director, presided over the turnover ceremony.

Suriben expressed confidence that the police organization will be in good hands under Dalmacio.

Suriben thanked Unos for maintaining peace and order in Laguna.

Suriben commended the Laguna Police
Provincial Office for its  dedication to public service and ensuring community safety.

The turnover of command ceremony is a formal event in the Philippine National Police (PNP) that  symbolizes the smooth transition of leadership and the shared responsibility of law enforcement leaders in upholding the PNP's core values of service, honor, and justice.
