Police said the incident occurred at around 11:15 p.m. as Rey Siason, an anchorman for RPN-DYKB and DYRL here, was about to sleep.

Gunshots rang out outside his home which damaged his gate, car, and motorcycle. Nobody was wounded.

Police recovered 13 spent .45 caliber shell casings and eight deformed slugs of an unidentified firearm at the scene.

Siason said the attack may be work-related due to death threats he had received.

His house was also shot at six years ago on Sept. 19, 2019.

Police Major Rhazl Jim Jocson, deputy chief of the Talisay City Police Station, said investigation suggests motorcycle-riding gunmen may be involved. Police have yet determine their identities.

Siason believe that the same perpetrators were behind both incidents.  Police are conducting further investigation.
