A magnitude 4.4 earthquake rocked parts of Zambales on Saturday morning, April 19, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
In its Earthquake Information No. 1, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 7:33 a.m., with the epicenter located 24 kilometers southwest of San Narciso, Zambales.
The agency said the quake had a depth of 10 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
According to Phivolcs, intensity IV was recorded in Cabangan, Zambales.
Meanwhile, intensity II was observed in Abucay, Bataan; and in Iba, San Marcelino, Botolan, and San Antonio in Zambales. Subic, Zambales recorded Intensity I.
