Two individuals died while 18 are injured after an accident involving three vehicles occurred on Sunday, April 14, in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.

According to responders from the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the deceased were passengers of a traditional passenger Jeepney plying the Jordan Plains-Philcoa route.
Meanwhile, the injured passengers were brought to the hospital.
The two other vehicles were a sedan and an e-jeep.
According to a closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage, the accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on the eastbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue going to Fairview, across the Commonwealth Market.
The jeepney was seen to have lost control and toppled over while hitting a sedan that crashed on the wall of the MRT-7.
The driver of the passenger jeep was taken into custody by the police.
At the time of the accident, traffic slowed down near Sandiganbayan as two lanes were occupied by the vehicles involved in the crash.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
