Two persons were hurt after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded and caused a fire in Barangay Central, Quezon City on Friday, March 14.
Based on the initial investigation, a couple was cooking when the LPG tank exploded. They sustained injuries in the arms and legs and were brought to the nearest hospital for treatment.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was raised to the first alarm at 2:10 a.m. and was declared under control at 2:29 a.m.
The blaze was extinguished at 2:43 a.m.
Probers are still investigating the damage the explosion and fire caused to property.
