Actor Daniel Matsunaga, Papa Jackson, and yours truly were invited by the FBM Foundation to distribute 100 grocery bags, toys, six pediatric wheelchairs, 10 oxygen tanks, two ECG machines, one vein locator apparatus, and 50 other medical supplies for the National Children’s Hospital.

But the joy that the stars brought to these children in pain undergoing chemotherapy was priceless. I sang to the children and honestly the joy this outreach gave me was incomparable. Matsunaga, Papa Jackson, and I accompanied Amarillo Costa, the country manager of FBM Philippines, to every cot giving lunch and a big bag of groceries to the children and their parents.

You can see the parents crying as we were trying to cheer up the kids in pain that just finished their dose of chemotherapy. Some outpatients came in. I was very blessed that Mr. Costa agreed to collaborate with two other foundations, the ILC Pink Hearts Foundation, which donated 100 bags of canned goods, and the Oasis of Love Foundation Inc., whose members helped distribute grocery bags.

I was very touched by what Costa told me: “The truth is, if it were just me, I would do this silently without the media, but I also want to inspire and empower other people who have the chance to come here to the National Children’s Hospital and bring joy to these kids. These kids are the future of the Philippines. They deserve to be healthy and happy.”

Earlier this year, FBM Foundation started the new year by making a significant impact by donating 10 brand-new computer sets, tables, and chairs to benefit students from various schools in Brgy. Alnay, Polangui, Albay. This initiative provides young learners with essential digital resources, fostering their academic growth and technological proficiency.

Beyond the donation, the FBM Foundation, through the tireless work of 12 dedicated volunteers in collaboration with the Brgy. SK Council of Brgy. Alnay and the Youth-united Organization renovated the barangay’s multi-purpose hall, transforming it into a fully functional, air-conditioned computer center. This newly equipped space offers students a proper growth environment to reinforce computer skills, complete academic projects, or explore new learning opportunities.

Last year, the FBM Foundation, together with the PhilWeb Foundation, united to distribute relief to 1,000 families affected by November's typhoons. Grocery kits, toiletries, and pre-loved clothes were distributed, bringing smiles and a message of resilience to Sta. Ana.

FBM Foundation aims to create a favorable social environment in the countries where FBM operates. FBM is a global gaming brand. In the Philippines alone, it has more than six hundred bingo halls, and this season alone, it gives its players a chance to win more than P30 million pesos in cash prizes. Watch Papa Jackson and me live on Facebook every Friday to win cash prizes and learn more about FBM Philippines. Visit the FBM Philippines Facebook page to find out the locations of their bingo halls where players can win up to 100,000 weekly.
