The distribution of free condoms at the Dangwa flower market on Dimasalang Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Valentine's Day has generated mixed reactions from netizens.

Many netizens shared positive comments, seeing the distribution of condoms as a step toward promoting health and sexual education.

However, others questioned whether it was appropriate to distribute them at a well-known flower market, a popular romantic spot, rather than in another setting.

Some netizens argued that there was nothing wrong with handing out free condoms, calling it a proactive approach to ensure safety and health awareness.

On the other hand, there were some comments expressing disapproval, suggesting that the act might not be suitable for a place known for flowers and romantic gestures.

The local government or relevant authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the condom distribution in the area.

However, the incident has sparked a larger discussion on sexual education and the responsible distribution of health materials.

Free condom distributions are often carried out in public areas to promote protection and awareness, particularly during special occasions like Valentine’s Day
