Eight candidates endorsed by President Marcos are leading the 2025 senatorial race, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
The Stratbase-commissioned SWS survey, conducted from Jan. 17 to 20, showed that eight administration-backed candidates are among the top 12: ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo, former senators Tito Sotto, Manny Pacquiao, and Panfilo Lacson, as well as Senators Pia Cayetano, Bong Revilla, Lito Lapid, and Makati City Mayor Abby Binay.
Tulfo (LAKAS) leads the list of 12 potential winners for the upcoming senatorial elections, securing 45 percent of intended votes.
He is followed by Sotto (NPC) in second place with 38 percent.
Lapid (NPC) and Bong Go (PDPLBN) are tied for third and fourth place with 37 percent each.
Lacson (IND) ranks fifth with 35 percent, followed by Ben Tulfo (IND) in sixth place with 34 percent.
Cayetano (NP) and Pacquiao (PFP) share seventh and eighth place with 33 percent each.
Binay (NPC) holds ninth place with 31 percent, while Bato Dela Rosa (PDPLBN) ranks tenth with 30 percent.
Bong Revilla (LAKAS), Willie Revillame (IND), and Kiko Pangilinan (LP) are tied for 11th to 13th place with 29 percent each.
Imee Marcos (NP) ranks 14th with 28 percent.
The Stratbase-SWS January 2025 pre-election survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters.
