An armed 41-year-old man who was creating trouble in his neighborhood was arrested by responding Parañaque City Police on Jan 28.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as alias “Bryan.” He was arrested at around 11:20 a.m. in Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City.
The police said officers from Barangay Moonwalk reported a disturbance to the Parañaque City Police Don Bosco Substation by a man armed with handgun who was in a state of distress and provoking his neighbors into a confrontation.
The police recovered from the suspect an improvised firearm (pen gun) loaded with one .45 live ammunition.
Alias Bryan was detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility and was charged for violations of Republic Act 10591 also known as the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines, and Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code (Alarms and Scandals).
