BYD launches new Seal Advanced, updated Atto 3

Two enhanced electric vehicles for the Philippine market

BYD Cars Philippines, in collaboration with ACMobility, has unveiled two significant developments in its electric vehicle (EV) lineup for 2025. These are the BYD Seal Advanced, a new rear-wheel drive variant of its flagship electric sedan, and updated features for the BYD Atto 3, the country's top-selling battery electric subcompact crossover. Both mark the company's latest efforts to cater to the growing demand for sustainable mobility in the Philippines.

The BYD Seal Advanced brings a refined yet dynamic driving experience to the Philippine EV market. Priced at ₱1,998,000, this new variant is powered by a 61.4-kWh Blade Battery, providing an impressive 510-kilometer range based on NEDC testing. Its rear-mounted 203-PS Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor delivers 310-Nm of torque, enabling the sedan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds. With a rear-wheel drive configuration and BYD’s Cell-to-Body technology, the Seal Advanced integrates the battery into the vehicle’s body to enhance torsional rigidity, safety, and overall performance.
