Pinay travels 195 countries using Philippine passport


At just 36 years old, overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Kach M. Umandap became the first traveller to reach 195 countries using a Philippine passport.

Umandap arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 on Tuesday, Jan. 14 after achieving the historic feat of completing global journey.

The countries she travelled are UN-recognized country, including Palestine and Vatican City. 

The Covid-19 pandemic the past few years did not discourage Umandap to continue her goal. 

Although she already explored the world, Umandap said Filipino cuisine remain closest to her heart.
