DAVAO CITY – The Davao City Police Office announced that 333 personnel from the Station Drugs Enforcement Unit and Intelligence Section tested negative for illegal drugs in a random drug test conducted by the Police Regional Office-11 on Jan. 2.
Acting DCPO chief Police Col. Hansel Marantan said the drug test, a key component of the Philippine National Police-Internal Disciplinary Program, demonstrates the organization’s unwavering commitment to fostering a drug-free workplace.
Marantan said the Davao City Forensic Unit conducted the test without prior notice to ensure the integrity of the process and eliminate any possibility of tampering or interference.
“Any personnel found violating these regulations will face immediate administrative and criminal sanctions,” Marantan said, adding that the DCPO remains resolute in its campaign against illegal drugs.
