President and CEO of JCVA Engr. Jason C. Valderrama looks forward to 2025 with optism.

“We’re definitely looking to take on projects in these industries next year. Logistics facilities for one have been in high demand with the boom of e-commerce here in the country. In healthcare, there’s also a clear scarcity of hospital beds that we hope to address. We’re also seeing renewed activity in the hospitality sector with domestic and international tourism rebounding,” said Valderrama.

"Our team has laid strong groundwork for 2025, with several major projects secured," added Valderrama. "We're looking forward to bringing our tech-forward solutions to both local and multinational companies across various industries."

Since its founding in 2014, JCVA has grown significantly in building expertise in traditional and emerging construction sectors with over 200 completed projects across all industries. With more than 150 clients, the 100 percent Filipino-owned construction consultancy firm maintains a diverse portfolio spanning residential developments, logistics and industrial build-outs, commercial spaces, and healthcare facilities nationwide.

JCVA's portfolio demonstrates its versatility in managing complex projects across industries from international retail chains to logistics infrastructure. As one of the drivers of its remarkable track record, JCVA adopted digital solutions into multiple stages of its work cycle. The firm uses Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create digital project models, enabling teams to collaborate remotely and identify potential issues before construction begins. To enable the firm to document project developments in real time, JCVA uses an AI-powered platform that provides a 360-degree view of construction sites. JCVA deploys drones to cover and monitor several hectares of a project area.

The firm’s clients also have full visibility of project progress through JCVA’s proprietary cloud-based platform called ‘Agile + Vault’, which makes project monitoring a more efficient experience. "Through this platform, clients can access real-time updates on schedules, budgets, and construction progress, including daily site photos and walkthrough videos–all without needing to visit the site,” explained Valderrama.

Alongside its digital capabilities, JCVA is also keenly focused on sustainability in construction. A flagship example is their exclusive project management partnership with one of the world’s largest sports retailers, whose locations in the Philippines are all EDGE certified and more energy and water-efficient than the standard retail projects. Having completed seven of the retailers’ local branches, two more projects are nearing completion. In addition, the firm is currently handling eight projects that meet international green building standards.

Another noteworthy project is JCVA's work as a sustainability consultant for a 10-hectare warehouse distribution center in Calamba, Laguna for a global shipping and logistics company. Working with both the developer and the locator, JCVA guided the project toward LEED Gold Certification by implementing key sustainability features. In particular, the facility’s rainwater harvesting systems eliminate outdoor water usage, its fixtures cut indoor water consumption by half, and its energy-efficient lighting, solar panels, and mechanical systems reduce energy use by 55 percent.
