Sy-Tancontian, 24, captured the bronze in the women’s +72kg class after beating Guinea’s Ramatoulaye Sylla in the quarterfinal but succumbed to Romania’s Katsiaryna Kaliuzhnaya in the semifinal.

The World and Asia/Oceania medalist shared the third honor with FIAS3's Lauryn Lage.

In the final, Kaliuzhnaya settled for silver as she was humbled by independent fighter Olesya Tkachenko who ruled the said category.

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Consigna also snared third place of the women’s -72kg after yielding to Romanian Volha Maleika in the semis.

Prior to her semis defeat, Consigna downed Kazakh Dauletzhan Nazereke in the quarters to take the other bronze along with hometown bet Nassma Essatouri.

FIAS1' Ekaterina Onoprienko won the gold while Maleika copped the silver.
